Week 8 Post 3

 This study gave me a good inside view on what the Ancient Greek patriarchy was like. Meehan's analysis of the connections between the patriarchy and the myths present is very insightful. She went into many different aspects, in and out of myth to describe her thesis. Her connection to the real and the myth was easily understandable and beneficial to my topic. 

I would love to look more into the sources used for this paper. I wonder how we know what the actual society was like back then and how it was measured by the people who study this. I worry that the lack of hope and respect for women in these myths will forever reflect on life. Especially when considering the notion that life reflects myth nearly directly throughout the years.
